"Give a Heart" Community Outreach Initiative

As part of our commitment to our community, and as a way of bringing awareness to the mental health crisis that is currently covering our country, during the month of May, CHUF will be distributing our "Give a Heart about Mental Health" candy bags around the community. Each bag contains chocolate kisses, a lollipop, a heart-shaped stress ball, literature about our "Give Heart" program, as well as a crisis text line card with information on how to contact the crisis line if needed. 

We believe that, by bringing awareness to the mental health crisis, together, we can help end the mental illness stigma. As we always say, "Together We are Stronger."

If you are interested in helping us spread the word about the importance of mental health awareness in our community and would like to place some candy bags in your place of business, contact us at marielyscr@chufinc.org and we will schedule the delivery for you. Bags are free for consumers and for businesses.
